Dummies Guide to Advertising: Evaluation 

 

What went well-

What went well is that during the planning stage I managed to have a basic plan which I followed. I got the shots I needed and managed to record my audio without too much interference (except some background noise). I also managed to work independently.

 

Improvements-

What I could improve is I need to share and communicate all my ideas to my classmates. The sound in my videos in the future must be balanced and recorded properly and I must be more confident in class. Planning must be done properly and not half completed. For the video itself ensure the shots are done well and if needed, film them again. I must also remove irrelevant shots like explosions. Also I should write down points as a graphic instead of close up. 

 

Personal experience-

Overall it was more difficult than I envisioned especially the practical elements of recording because of background noise like cars etc… which is uncontrollable. Communication with classmates is also very difficult because it’s difficult to express my ideas and I’m no good at group work as I am naturally independent. That is something that came from GCSE Media as well that I must work with other people and have trouble working with others and I should talk more to others.
